1. General information
- The VSM AF799 ACTIROX 36+ 125 mm fibre disc is designed for rough grinding, weld seam grinding and surface flattening on carbon steel and stainless steel (INOX).
- ACTIROX ceramic abrasive grain, grit 36+ – a coarse grit intended for rough grinding.
- The disc is thin and must be mounted on a matching 125 mm backing pad.
- Made in Germany; the disc is marked with oSa, the EN 13743 safety standard and a maximum speed of 80 m/s.
2. Benefits
2.1 Benefits for the plant

5.1 Applications
- Rough grinding and weld seam grinding on steel structures, tanks and piping.

5.2 Usage notes
- Always mount the disc on a backing pad of the correct size; never use the disc without a backing pad.
- Do not exceed the maximum speed of 80 m/s printed on the disc; use an angle grinder that matches the disc size.
- Always use the machine's wheel guard. Wear eye or face protection, a dust mask, ear protection and gloves, as shown by the pictograms on the disc.
- Grind with the disc slightly tilted to the surface; do not use the disc for cutting.
- Do not use torn, warped or damp discs.
- Store in a dry place, away from moisture and heat, so the disc does not warp.
