2. General information:
Enerpac CULP-Series low height hydraulic cylinders, also known as hydraulic pancake cylinders, offer an impressive power-to-height ratio, making them the right choice for confined spaces where other cylinders will not fit. All CULP cylinders are finished with a tough nitrocarburized coating for enhanced corrosion protection in harsh working environments.

5. Choosing the right CULP size and applications

Typical applications: lifting, pushing, pressing or aligning machinery and structures in low clearances where standard cylinders will not fit — for example lifting machine bases, alignment during installation, and separating assembled parts.

6. Operating notes
- Rated load and stroke are the manufacturer’s maximum safe limits; Enerpac recommends using only 80% of these ratings.
- Single-acting, load return cylinder: the plunger retracts only under load or an external force.
- Use a 700 bar pump and hose; connect to the AR630 coupler with hose HB7206 (AH630 coupler) as recommended by Enerpac.
- Matching repair kit: CULP30K.
- Read the Enerpac operation manual L4213 carefully before use.
