1. General information

• The PFERD EHT 125-2,4 PSF STEELOX cut-off wheel is designed for cutting carbon steel and stainless steel (INOX) on 125 mm handheld angle grinders. The label states STEEL+INOX: one wheel covers both materials.
• The wheel contains fillers with a very low content of iron (Fe), chlorine (Cl) and sulphur (S). As a result, the cut does not contaminate stainless steel. This makes it suitable for stainless steel workshops with strict corrosion-resistance requirements.
• The wheel is 2.4 mm thick, flat and reinforced with fibreglass mesh. It is the sturdiest of the three 125 mm PSF STEELOX thicknesses DAVITA supplies, suited to cutting thick-walled sections and solid steel.
• The PSF line is rated ★★☆☆ on PFERD's 4-star performance scale. It is a universal line that balances price and performance. The wheel carries the oSa mark of the Organisation for the Safety of Abrasives (osa-abrasives.org). It complies with the European standard EN 12413 and with USA ANSI B7.1 / OSHA regulations.

• No contamination of stainless steel, less rust after processing. Iron left on a stainless steel cut edge causes rust spots, and chlorine and sulphur increase the risk of pitting corrosion. 5.2 Usage notes

• Use only on machines rated no higher than 12,250 r/min.
• Always use the machine's wheel guard. Wear eye or face protection, a dust mask, ear protection and gloves, as shown by the pictograms on the label.
• Do not use the cut-off wheel for grinding and do not apply side pressure. Cut straight, without tilting the wheel in the cut.
• Before mounting, check that the wheel is free of cracks and chips, and is not damp or oily. Run it without load for about 30 seconds.
• Store in a dry place. Use the wheel before the expiry date stamped on the metal ring at the bore (EXP marking).
