Seal

SKF sealing solutions for rotating shafts — keeping lubricant in and dust and water out. A failed seal is the most common indirect cause of bearing failure.

Groups in stock:

• Radial shaft seals — HMSA10 and HMS5 series, NBR or FKM rubber, spring-loaded. Read the code as d × D × b: for example 280X320X20 HMSA10 V means a 280 mm shaft, 320 mm housing bore and 20 mm width.
• V-rings — VA, VS, VL, VR. Secondary dust seals fitted around the shaft, usually alongside the main seal in dusty environments.
• Speedi-Sleeve (shaft repair sleeve) — 99xxx series. When the old seal has worn a groove into the shaft, fitting this thin sleeve restores the sealing surface without re-machining or replacing the shaft.

Quick lookup: measure the shaft diameter (d), housing bore (D) and width (b), then search by that set of three numbers. Most seal part numbers at DAVITA already include the dimensions in the name.

Choose the material by temperature and medium: NBR for mineral oil and normal temperatures; FKM (Viton) for high temperatures, synthetic oils or chemicals. Send your operating conditions to the DAVITA technical team for advice on the right material.

Terminology: in Vietnamese, bearings are called vòng bi, bạc đạn or ổ bi — all the same product. DAVITA uses "vòng bi" consistently on its Vietnamese pages.
